We met this past Monday night at the Harvest Clubhouse with almost 150 students and almost 20 leaders! Our 'Dallas-style snowball fight' was a huge success, even with the added twist of the soggy and sometimes rock-hard flour bombs. It was hilarious!Next we had 6 volunteer girls set to walk across our 'hermit crab walk' (15 hermit crabs on a sheet). We brought them in one by one, blindfolded, for the task. What they didn't know is that the hermit crabs were switched with fortune cookies! It was hilarious to see their reaction as the whole club roared and laughed at each "crunch"!
We saw a video about all the insane fun that will take place at Frontier Ranch this summer and of course enjoyed the music from the band.
Chris T. talked about only having one shot at life, and how to make it an adventure. Ford Tikson and Shelby Turner talked about their amazing experiences at camp.
It was awesome! What a great way to get the semester started!!
