One LAST time!

Our end of the year "One LAST time" Kickball Tourny was a huge hit!! We had loud music, cook out, and the games were super fun and competitive. Everyone was super excited about the smoothie card prizes. To end it, the best part was the silly string fight! :)

Senior Club!

"It's so hard to say goodbye...to yesterday..."

Our last club was all about our '09 seniors! We had a great time, and got to listen to a few seniors tell what YL has meant to them. It was amazing. We love you and will miss you!!!

Wrappin' Up the School Year

Our May Clubs were a blast!! We PACKED the clubhouse with even more new friends and experienced crazy fun together. Who can forget Tacky Prom? It flew by but one thing was made clear as we heard talks from Phatt Matt and C-Rex and it can all be summed up by John 10:10:

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

That's how we roll!

"COUNTRY" Club - 4/20!

Howdy, Ya'll!

Well our fearless leader, Chris T. has been in Macedonia for a YL service project, but he's baaaaaack on Monday for our "Country" Club! Come dressed in your best western get up. Yee Haw!!

Our first ever RUMMAGE SALE EVENT (Camp Fundaiser) is Saturday, April 25th at the Harvest Church (700 Rivercrest Blvd., Allen, 75002) from 8 to 3pm. We'll have a bake sale, cookout, bounce house, face painting, silent auction and MORE! Come check it out! Club 3/30

Club this past Monday was jam packed! We had students feeding other students jelly-beans out of buckets of ice water with their toes! We played a mean game of "birdie-on-the-perch" and sang and danced as the YL band played Burnin' Up, Bubbly and Amazin' Love! We found out there's only SEVEN SPOTS LEFT for camp this summer!! Then we watched as one of our amazing leaders shared her story through video about how we can easily put other things/people in God's place and it leaves our lives a mess, but the foundation we have or can have gives us hope and rebuilds us despite past hurts. ALL AREA CLUB!!

This past Monday we joined areas from Frisco, Plano, Richardson and McKinney at Chase Oaks Church for the LARGEST Club in the nation! Almost 700 students and leaders packed in to sing songs, do crazy rubber glove on the head competition, watch camp videos, and listen to Brian talk about how amazing it is to be part of the "in" crowd of Jesus. He told us it's not because of what we've done, but because of what HE did! Jesus took 99 of 100 steps, it's up to us to take that last 1!!

Allen YL Goes Bananas!!

Our last club for two weeks was EPIC!! All dressed in Yellow (of course, C-rex was in a full banana suit!). Brave ones bobbed for peeps and yellow gumdrops within yellow jello. We had fun with a 'musical-chair-esque' game with yellow hula hoops, sang songs (rocked out), laughed and wound down the hour watching one of our Amazing YL Leaders share her story in a video. We learned that God can turn around anything, and that we're never alone. 

At the end of the night, all walked out to our AWESOME committee who had prepared a 50ft!! banana split with all the fixin's just for us!

We're takin' a break for spring break, but then we'll be representin' at the ALL AREA CLUB at Chase Oaks Church in Plano on Monday, March 23rd!!

OH and did I mention there are only 3 SPOTS left for YL Camp this summer (of 150!)!?!
